NEWS | Former students return for first-ever BCT Alumni Badminton Cup
Alumni hailing from different batches of Brokenshire College Toril hit the court to ‘smash, drive, and drop’ in the first-ever Alumni Badminton Cup held last November 18, 2022.
Organized by the BCT Alumni Association and Alumni Office, the sports tournament sought to provide an avenue for worthwhile fellowship among former students and raise funds to support the programs and initiatives of the association this school year.
Concluding on successful note, the tournament proclaimed the following winners:
Non-Gender Beginners
Champion: Henexe Tubog and Godwyn Dalisay (JHS Alumni)
First Runner-Up: Dominic Karl Mamayabay & Jearrah Maye Enriquez (SHS Alumni)
Second Runner-Up: Elirose Ono-on and Rey John Banielos (HS and SHS Alumni)
Mixed Doubles Intermediate
Champion: Vince Anora and Frances Jhan Durango (SHS Alumni)
First Runner-Up: Rey Anthony Monjardin and Donette Jane Allawan (SHS Alumni)
Second Runner-Up: Ken Allen Palaca and Jessa Vasquez (SHS and JHS Alumni)
Men’s Doubles Intermediate
Champion: Vince Anora and DK Rophe Paniamogan (JHS and Elementary/Preschool Alumni)
First Runner-Up: Kristian Paran and Rey Anthony Monjardin (Elementary and SHS Alumni)
Second Runner-Up: Ken Allen Palaca and Julros Diabordo (SHS/Elementary Alumni).
Following this, the association is now gearing up for the Grand Alumni Homecoming happening on December 10, 2022.
