Brokenshire Toril Athletes Shine at Araw ng Parangal In a meaningful celebration of athletic excellence, Brokenshire Toril athletes and coaches took center stage during the Araw ng Parangal at Pasasalamat para sa Matagumpay na mga Dabawenyong Atleta held at the SMX Lanang Convention Center on September 12, 2024. The event honored Davao’s top athletes who have excelled at both the regional and national levels. Leading the charge for Brokenshire Toril were Rongel Kish Diaz and John Lhenard Mamacang, both Badminton Palaro qualifiers. The duo was recognized for their exceptional performances in the DAVRAA and Palarong Pambansa 2024, where they demonstrated not only remarkable skill but also unwavering dedication to their sport. Their coaches, Mr. John Rey T. Nanca and Irish Mae Aberilla, were in attendance, and they have been instrumental in the development and success of the BCT Badminton team. Their guidance and mentorship have undoubtedly propelled their athletes to new heights on the national stage. The recognition extended further with the presence of BCT Tennis Coach Mr. Juneray Mamacos, who was honored for his role as the tennis coach of the Davao City High School Boys' team during DAVRAA 2024. His dedication has played a crucial role in nurturing young tennis talent in the city. This celebration of Brokenshire’s athletic achievements is yet another testament to the school’s unwavering commitment to cultivating champions on and off the court.
